Hi. I'm, C. Yvette Spencer, a multi-genre author and editor. As an Indie Author, I know the struggle that's required as an unknown to put my name and books on the lips of the reading community. Although I'm an extrovert, I don't feel comfortable approaching people to ask for interviews or reviews. I can only imagine the hesitation of my introverted sisters and brothers who feel alone in the gigantic world of literature with no nerves or voice outside of their published work to make such a request.
I've been hosting an Indie Authors support group for over a year and in that group, I've found that authors like myself, share the same struggles; the difficulties to get the word out about our work. I considered how these wonderful authors, put their hearts, souls, invested time and money into the success of their writing careers. Yet, they have little or no platform to spread the word of their work. And thus, Indie Authors Spotlight was conceived.
A blog site dedicated to spotlight Independent Authors. With basic interviewing questions, I spotlight the author and their work and in during so, I hope to help them spread the news about how faithful they are to their cause and creativity.
